A number of tools are located in a vertical row on the left of the Label View to help to create label design and add various objects onto the label.

To add a text object.select the Text Tool from the tools, and click on the label. The text insertion point shows, where the text you type appear. The text box area changes as you type. You are able also to create a textbox first, by clicking and dragging the mouse with the Text tool active, and then typing the text.

To add a graphic object like Rectangle, Oval, Arc, or Line, select the correspondent tool from tools, click on the label, and drag to create the object.

Use Object menu to add the Database field objects to your label. Just select the title of the object from the Object>Add Database Field menu option, then move the cursor to the desired location on your label, and click the mouse. The object appears at this location.

Counter changes it's value from label to label when printed. Use either Counter Tool from tools or the Object menu to add the Counter objects to your label. Select the Object>Add Counter menu option, then move the cursor to the desired location on your label, and click the mouse. The counter appears at this location.

Home Print Labels allows adding Postnet barcodes to labels. Use either Barcode Tool from tools or the Object menu to add the Counter objects to your label. Select the Object>Add Barcode menu option, then move the cursor to the desired location on your label, and click the mouse.

To add image to you label, use the correspondent menu option from the File menu.

Each image can be additionally modified using the Object Info, Frame Info, and Fill Info menu options from the Object menu.

The Object Tool is used to select or activate one or more items and to reposition them. An item is active when it is first created, and can later be selected by clicking on it with the Object Tool. A selected item is indicated either by the presence of "handles" (handles look like little black boxes spaced along the edges of the box that surrounds an item) that are used to HomePrint Labels.
